Scope:

1. 250,000 sq ft of 2-ply hot rubberized waterproofing membrane (500,000 sq. ft. total applied)
2. 250,000 sq ft of 50 mm rigid insulation & drainage board on the reservoir roof slab
3. 2,100 linear ft of cold applied waterproofing membrane to foundation walls with 50 mm insulation and drainage board
4. 7600 linear ft of Expansion Joint Installed

Overview:
FAHCON provided complete waterproofing services for the Richview Reservoir rehabilitation. Working with Kenaidan and WSP, our team installed a full 2-ply hot rubberized membrane system across the reservoir roof, along with insulation and drainage protection.

We also completed 2,100 linear feet cold applied waterproofing membrane to foundation wall, including insulation and drainage board  and installed 7,600 linear feet of expansion joints, ensuring long-term water management and structural performance. 

Result:
A durable, fully protected reservoir structure designed for long-term waterproofing reliability and improved asset performance for the City of Toronto.
